Tottenham the soft touch

Tottenham are regarded by the big sides as a soft touch, Gary Neville and Roy Keane have been saying the same for years, now they are able to do it publicly as pundits.

You can't argue with them we are, we have had a soft underbelly since before the Premier League began. When the going gets tough the tough get going, except we don't and by the look of it this lot are less inclined than many a side before them.

Paulinho is actively searching for a club in Italy, he can get bigger wages than i Brazil and can play in a weaker league that may suit his game better. Dembele looks as if he can't be bothered unless he starts a Premier League game, Lamela only performs against weak opposition, Chadli is hit and miss, Eriksen can do little with not a lot around him, Capoue is too slow to release the ball, Chiriches is a liability, Kaboul makes a mistake every game, Soldado rarely scores, Adebayor is rarely in the penalty area and Townsend plays for himself.

Where was the desire and fight against Newcastle when the going got tough?

Asteras Tripolis then becomes important on Thursday because not only do we need to win to start taking control of the group but we need to see the side not settling for a narrow win and just passing the ball around as if we have done enough.

We were the clinical side I have been advocating for a couple of years against them at White Hart Lane but we need to be that way regularly not just occasionally at home.
