Montpellier wants to sign another Tottenham target French Under-21 international Adrien Rabiot on loan says Louis Nicollin, the French clubs president.

"I would get Adrien Rabiot, I would get him back on track. His mother would be happy, he would have playing time here. Nasser would cover all wages, and I would give him back a brand new player, a jackpot for a resale".

PSG do not want to sell Rabiot even though his mother, his agent, has asked for a transfer. That has been interpreted by our press as handing in a transfer request but I have not seen or heard anything that suggests that may be the case. Asking for a transfer is not the same as handing in a transfer request. The French champions are happy to loan the 20-year-old out for a season but not with a purchase option at the end. We want to buy him or loan him with an option to buy.

Rabiot wants to play football, his mother wants him playing 35 games next season. He is a highly-regarded talent they don't want to lose, but they don't want to give him the game time he wants either. We are certainly trying to get him.
