Croatia Squad Liverpool Defender Omitted For Demanding Selection Promises

Croatian Euro Squad 2016

Croatia is a country that produces many talents and we have enjoyed a few Croatians at Spurs, the best of which was Luka Modric.

Another former Spurs player makes th squad, Vedran Corluka and a host of players we have scouted and tried to buy. The side had a poor World Cup, but being young I'd expect them to have a lot better tournament at the Euros.

Tin Jedvaj (20), Alen Halilovic (19), Ante Coric (19) are three youngsters we have tried to buy in the last few years and all three are selected.

Croatian coach Ante Cacic rannounced a list of 27 players on Monday, which must be cut down to 23 by the end of the month. Omitted was Liverpool defender  Dejan Lovren who had made demands about his selection

Real Madrid are also represented in the form of Luka Modric and Mateo Kovacic, with on loan Malaga striker Duje Cop also named.
