Spurs linked with a move for Croatian again

TRANSFER TALK

The Sunday People are reporting that Tottenham have an interest in 27-year-old (28 next February) Croatian midfielder Milan Badelj.

The midfielder plays for Fiorentina in Italy and will only have a year left to run on his contract next summer, thus he will be available below market price. Fiorentina may well sell him in January if they can not tie him down to a contract extension. That way they would maximise the fee they could expect for him.

The Sunday People suggest Spurs would only have to pay around £7m although it was reported by the Sun on 18 September when he scores a stunner from 20 yards to beat Roma, that he was rated at £12-million.

he was linked with a move to us in the summer which never really looked likely and a move to AC Milan didn't happen because the clubs couldn't agree on a transfer fee. It is though that Milan will come back in for him next summer and that seems his more likely destination.
