Sanchez, Burnley, Wanyama, Spurs scouting Crewe youngster

TRANSFER TALK

Davinson Sanchez is having his medical at Tottenham today after which he'll sign a contract and become a Spurs player.

The Times are reporting that Spurs have currently sold over 70,000 tickets for the next match against Burnley on Sunday.

Victor Wanyama has asked the Football Kenya Federation for a rest when they play a friendly on Saturday 2 September away against Mozambique. They have agreed to his request and he will not play in the match.

Tottenham have been linked with Crewe Alexander youngster George Nunn. We have been scouting the highly-rated 15-year-old and some reports suggest we have asked Crewe to name their price.

The League Two clubs manager David Artell denied Spurs had made contact with the club to the Crewe Chronicle.

"George is a good player, a good prospect and I'm sure his mum and his dad, who are good people, and he will see his future here. Tottenham haven't picked up the phone to any of us so I'm not sure where it's come from.
"It's not come from us so if any of the fans are thinking we're speculating to sell our young prospects – we are definitely not.
"I don't think it's come from George or his family either, so I'm sure it's an over-zealous reporter. George has a bright future ahead of him and I'm sure it'll be at Crewe Alexandra."
