5 games in 14 days, Bentaleb banned, new contracts, the FA Cup and more Kane goals to talk about this morning.

Tottenham Fixtures

The players have 2 days off and return to the club on Wednesday ahead of a period where we will play five games in fourteen days.

PL - Crystal Palace (a) Sun 25 Feb
FA Cup - Rochdale (h) Wed 28 Feb
PL - Huddersfield (h) Sat 3 Mar
UCL - Juventus (h) Wed 7 Mar
PL - Bournemouth (a) Sun 11 Mar

PL - Newcastle United (h) Fri 16 Mar

That sequence of games should explain to everyone why we made 11 changes to the side. Players are not machines and need a rest. Qualifying for the UEFA Champions League is essential if we are to keep raising players wages, as fans would like us to do.

Nabil Bentaleb Banned

FC Schalke head coach Domenico Tedesco has banned former Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Nabil Bentaleb from his squad. rather shows we were right to get rid of him when he got too big for his boots demanding top level wages when just starting his career. Money grabbers are more interested in their bank balance that putting in performances that justify their wage packet.

Academy Players Sign New Contracts

According to the FA website, academy players Keanan Bennetts, Samuel Shashoua, Japhet Tanganga, Tashan Oakley-Boothe, Oliver Skipp and Phoenix Patterson have all signed new contracts since the season began.

The FA Cup

The Football Association are set to reject any potential appeals to have the FA Cup semi-finals moved from Wembley Stadium following growing concerns that we may actually have an advantage. That has been known since we signed the deal to play there so to bring it up now is a bit weak.

Harry Kane has now scored eight goals in his last five FA Cup games.
