Maurisio Pochettino has made personal phone calls to Real Madrid midfielder Isco before and made a big effort to sign him last summer. The Spanish international decided to stay in Spain, but now he has decided to leave, Pochettino will surely reignite his interest.

The 26-year-old (27 next April) was silly to stay an extra season and sign a new contract at because Real Madrid don't play a style that suits him, thus he was never going to be a regular starter in any of the big games.
